4HANDSLA: PETRUSHKA (2014)
Stravinsky’s rarely-heard piano four-hands arrangement of his 1911 ballet, Petrushka. Like the duo’s debut CD, Paris 1913, Petrushka was recorded on a Rubenstein R-371, a unique 12-foot concert grand piano hand-made in Los Angeles by David Rubenstein (and one of the largest pianos in the world). Also featuring Pupazzetti, a delightful set of miniatures by early 20th century Italian composer Alfredo Casella.
